about gaze control

I’m Portia, a photographer based in Los Angeles.
15+ years of experience in the adult entertainment industry & an academic background in graphic design, costume design, and fine arts has granted me a strong eye for aesthetics and, more importantly, a deep grasp of gaze control in advertising for hired companions.
I want to create images of you that not only resonate artistically, but are commercially viable — media for advertising & marketing that appeal to your ideal client’s gaze.
If you have a vision for your brand, I’ll bring it to life. If you’re unsure of where to go creatively, I’ll be your guide. If you thrive on spontaneity, we’ll make magic in the moment.
I believe form and function don’t need to be mutually exclusive, and my portfolio reflects this.

creative direction
Trying to choose between looks, locations, and themes? Once you’ve booked, we’ll have an in-depth consultation to discuss your vision & what fits where. Whether you have an existing brand identity you’d like to maintain, an inspired concept you’re dying to try, or you’d like me to throw some ideas your way — we’ll make magic, you & I.
STYLE
I gravitate towards Venusian, romantic, surreal, thematic, and emotive art-house aesthetics through practical and digital effects. Regardless of my own taste, I want to capture you in your most powerful, dreamy, vulnerable, and soul-crushingly sultry moments — the way you’re fantasized about, the way you want to be seen, and in ways you never realized you could be seen.
location
I’m more than happy to help you pick between location options you’re deciding between, or suggest somewhere that I believe may work for you. However, you’re responsible for procuring our shoot location, unless otherwise explicitly stated. Please note that many public spaces (such as museums and the public areas of hotels) require written permission and associated photography fees — those are your responsibility to take care of as well. Scouting a location for you is possible, for a fee.
